What is the Marcus’ Golfing Adventures Series (MGA)?

MGA was created to promote the concept of “Positive Growth without Result Bias” for youth in golf. Too many young kids believe that being a winner or winning in sports will grant them happiness and more fulfillment. In fact, the reason they started “playing” had very little to do with a result.

For these reasons, MGA promotes:

• Having fun;
• Safe learning;
• Development through sports;
• Positive Growth

The MGA series will present an approach that aims to help kids understand:

• “Golf is what they love to do and not who they are”;
• “Their approach and efforts are more important than the result”;
• “There is always an opportunity to learn and improve”.

Since golf so closely mirrors life, the MGA series is the foundation for understanding a sustainable approach to a difficult game.

MGA is committed to fostering development through sports. For these reasons, a portion of the proceeds from a MGA book sale is donated to support the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) as well as Junior Golf Academy of Canada (JGAC) and their efforts.
